Architecting the agentic enterprise.

Twenty-five years of enterprise architecture, now turned toward multi-agent systems that have to be safe, auditable and alive.

I hold architecture and design authority within a US major bank — platforms at significant scale, under hard constraints on resilience, security and regulatory posture. My current research focuses on agentic development lifecycle, solution architecture and enterprise architecture in the AI era, guardrail-first multi-agent architectures, reasoning-augmented retrieval, and self-healing patterns for agentic degradation.

§ 01 — Practice

Enterprise architecture, grounded in the agentic era.

Where solution and enterprise architecture meet autonomous systems: target-state design, domain decomposition and design authority, now extended to agent orchestration, guardrails and the operational discipline that keeps AI systems trustworthy at scale.

Over my career I have led major modernization initiatives, guided enterprise architecture decisions, and translated complex business objectives into scalable, reliable technology. I am trusted as a final escalation point for high-impact architectural decisions involving risk, performance, cost and long-term sustainability.

Since 2024 that practice has turned toward agentic AI as a first-class enterprise concern — not as a vendor layer, but as an architectural substrate. The eight IEEE papers I authored recently describe named patterns for how multi-agent systems should be built inside regulated environments: typed guardrails as connectors, reasoning-augmented architecture, policy-governed edge intelligence, and self-healing recovery for agentic degradation.

I combine hands-on technical depth with practical leadership. I set architectural direction, review critical designs, resolve trade-offs under real-world constraints, and mentor architects moving into enterprise roles.
